Dr Victor Horsley

PODIATRIST

Victor L. Horsley, DPM is past president of the Academy of Minimally Invasive Foot & Ankle Surgeons and is currently involved in the Caribbean L.E.A.P. initiative with Foot and Ankle International in Nassau, Bahamas. Also, he teaches local third and fourth year medical residents MIFAS, biomechanics and diabetic limb salvage. Dr Horsley is now preparing for the first ever cadaver lab and seminar in Nassau Bahamas. A graduate of Howard University ‘75 and the Kent State University/Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1982 and since 1984 he has dedicated his practice to diabetic Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention (L.E.A.P.) and Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle (MIFAS).

Since 2017 Dr. Horsley has been a faculty member with the capstone program at Dr. Wm. M. Scholl Collage of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Now retired from several states in the US he spends his time in the Caribbean helping to reduce the critical diabetic amputation rate by 50% in 5 years. Achieving this goal will take Awarenes
